What is a story?
Stories are abstracts that discuss the statistical concepts of a particular datafile. Stories can be searched using full-text searches or searching on topics and/or methods. To help with uniformity and ease of browsing, the stories generally have the same format.
- Story Name: (story name)
- Story Topic: (story topics)
- Datafile Name: (corresponding datafile)
- Methods: (a set of statistical methods)
- Abstract: (a discussion of the story)
- Images: (e.g., scatterplots, histograms, etc...)
The datafile names are linked to the file that contains the data corresponding to each story. This provides a quick avenue to the data. Also, that dataset will have a link back to this story as well as links to others stories (if they exist) because some datafiles have multiple stories.
Each topic and method also links to the search engine to find other stories with the same characteristics.
