Mohamed Farag

Mohamed earned his D.Eng. degree from George Washington University in 2018. Mohamed started his teaching career in 2019 with cloud computing and big data courses at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to his teaching experience, Mohamed has 10+ years of industrial experience in Big Data, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and he was a member of the US-big data analytics team at a multi-national consulting firm. In addition, he served as a member in several committees in the Project Management Institute including "Thesis Grant Program,” “Sponsored Research Program” and “Young Professional Award Application Evaluation.” Mohamed is the recipient of the STAR award for individual performance from CGI and the certificate of appreciation for excellence from the Project Management Institute in 2019.
