I am writing my thesis on inverse problems with my advisor Chris Genovese. Specifically I am doing theory and methods for solving issues in Astrophysical signal processing. My thesis proposal document can be accessed upon request. So far, we have produced two submitted documents with Andrew Connolly, Andrew Becker, and Russell Owen at University of Washington Astronomy; and Robert Lupton, and Steven Bickerton of Princeton Astrophysics.
In the past, I produced a report on stochastically ordered processes entitled An Investigation Into Statistical Tests for Stochastic Dominance With Applications to Economic Decision Theory with David Kahle. I presented it at the 2007 SIAM Conference on Applied Mathematics. Also, I wrote a paper with economists Laura Argys, Steve Medema, and Brian Duncan called Organ Donation: An Economic Evaluation of Organ Donation Efforts that looked into possible influences on decisions to donate organs upon death.
