Closing

Exterior
* move all deck furniture to basement 
* clean grill and put in basement 
* check that no exterior spot lights left on
* remove anything else from deck/lawn/driveway areas and put in basement 
* clean screen on dryer exhaust 
* put clothes pins in basement 

Basement
* hang kayaks from hooks in ceiling joists 
* hang as many bicycles as can from hooks in ceiling joists 
* make sure washing machine water valve is in off position 
* leave washing machine door ajar so it can dry out; wipe out gasket
  in door opening 
* turn off circuit breakers for 
  o water heater
  o stove
  o all heaters (3 large breakers)
* remove all trash 
* lock basement door 
* make sure keys are left in pump room 

Bedroom Wing
* close skylights 
* turn off water heater in old pump room (circuit breaker is labeled) 
* make sure screen door (facing road) is secured and locked 
* make sure all windows and doors locked 
* close window blinds 
* store all bedding, quits, pillows and towels inside cubbies--not 
  on top; leave mattress pads/covers on beds. 

Kitchen-Living Room Wing
* make sure all windows and doors locked 
* lower all binds/shades 
* empty and wipe out refrigerator and freezer 
* empty dishwasher and leave open 
* remove any food which may freeze, spoil or attract pests/mice 
* unplug all appliances, TV etc. 
* put permits (dump, Philbin, shell fish, resident) back on
  refrigerator--they are need next spring
