Research

In general, I’m interested in education statistics and methodology related to large-scale educational interventions in particular.

My dissertation can be found here:

Statistical Network Models for Replications and Experimental Interventions

My advisor was Brian Junker, who is also the PI for the IES grant.  My dissertation work focuses on creating methodology to model multiple social networks and network-level experimental interventions in education research.  Statistical network models have been used to model relational data in a variety of applications.

My advisor (Brian Junker), Andrew Thomas, and I have been working on several manuscripts.  Drafts of these papers can be made available upon request.  This work has been presented at a number of conferences in the past year (SREE Fall 2012, JSM 2012, AERA 2012, SREE Fall 2011).
