Web Hosting & Support

General Information

The Statistics Department provides free web hosting for members of the department as well as special projects within the department. Each member is allotted up to 500 MB of space on our server. Most popular CGI scripting languages are supported including, but not limited to:

• PHP 5.4.16
• Perl 5.16.3
• Python 2.7.5
• Ruby 2.0
• MySQL 5.6.35 database software for local, light duty, web applications
• PostgreSQL 9.2
• Shiny Server 1.5 (with R 3.3.2) (Available at shiny.stat.cmu.edu)
