I am a postdoctoral fellow jointly affiliated with the Statistics department at Carnegie Mellon University and the Computer Science department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, supervised by Aaditya Ramdas and Matan Gavish. Before that, I was a postdoc in the department of Statistics at Stanford University with Emmanuel Candès. I received my PhD in Statistics from UPenn (Wharton) under Larry Brown's supervision. I work on problems involving inference when multiple unknown parameters are considered simultaneously, and decisions must be made for all or for a subset selected in light of the data. I am particularly interested in the interplay between Bayesian and Frequentist methods, specifically in developing empirical Bayes procedures with competitive frequentist performance in testing and estimation.
