  Judy Cole is the director of alumni relations for CMU.  She wants to
  survey CMU alumni to learn about them.  Separately there is a survey
  done by another group for another purpose, and she would like to use
  it to make some inferences about the alumni.  I mentioned the
  possibility of her getting some help from stat graduate students,
  either in the ADA context or the stat. practice context.  I thought
  you two are handling those classes and I wonder if I could connect
  her with one of you to get some help.

  - correlational analysis of convergent validity of mcas,
    assistments, and MAPS... augment conv validity thing with
    assistments ?

  - learning over time obeys power or expon law?
    - alt to logistic regression if power law applies?
    - maybe use the old geometry data
