The 1910 Census shows Benjamin (46) and "Jennie" (Anna, 38) living in a house they own at 320 Torrence Street in Greater Punsxutawney, Jefferson County, PA. They have been married for 12 years, their parents were all born in Russia, and they were both born in Russia and immigrated in 1907. Benjamin is working as a "taylor". Both speak English and can read and write. There are five daughters: Margaret (10), Eva (8), "Mary" (Marion, 6), Ida (2), and Annie (3 months).

By the 1920 Census Benjamin and Anna moved to 240 Vine Street. Annie has died, and Jane (9) and Bernice (6) were born in the last decade. The immigrants in the family were naturalized in 1913. Benjamin is a (?)tailor in a "shop". Margaret is a ticket seller in a theater, and Eva is a stenographer for a lumber company.
