Rev. Joseph Grollman
The Funeral of Rev. Joseph Grollman, who died Wed. (July 16, 1903 ) took place Thursday afternoon from his late residence 603 E. Lexington St.
Rev. Joseph Grollman was born in Taurig, Russia 64 years ago. At an early age he began the study of the Talmud and later became the life long friend and fellow student of Chief Rabbi Jacob Joseph, with whom he came to America. Rev. Joseph Grollman was a profound Talmudic scholar and was well known among the Orthodox Jews.
He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Sarah Grollman and seven children, Harry and Simon [Gerson] Grollman, Mrs. Theodore Sherbow, Bertha, Rose, Rebecca, and Annie Grollman.
