This folder contains code and data set 
associated with the Zarchary's Karate
Club data (Zachary W (1977), An 
introduction flow model for conflict
and fission in small groups, J. 
Anthropo. Res. 33, 452-473. 

The network has 34 nodes and 136 edges, 
and has two perceivable communities. 


The foloder contains 2 data sets. 

karate.txt: 34 by 34 adjacency matrix of the 
karate network. 

karatey.txt: 34 by 1 vector of community labels, 
with 1 being one group (Mr. Hi) and 2 being the
other (John). 

The data was also analyzed in my recent paper "
Fast community detection by SCORE", and the matlab
code will be posted soon.
